We listened to our Fall Expo attendees who told us they wanted a summer festival like the Expo. And for years we’ve been asked to please bring our event to the West side of town. The Horizon Event Center has made that possible. We hope you enjoy the 2nd Annual Great Iowa Pet Fest!

The Great Iowa Pet Fest welcomes anyone who loves animals and pets. Whether you’re a current pet owner or just thinking about bringing a companion animal into your home, the Great Iowa Pet Fest is for you. It’s a great event for family entertainment, fun activities to do with your dog, and a tradeshow to shop the latest pet products!
For safety reasons, only well-trained, well-behaved adult pets are allowed to attend the Great Iowa Pet Fest. Please leave your younger pets at home! Puppies will be turned away at the door.
Please make sure your adult pet is on a short leash (6 foot maximum, no retractable leashes.).
All pets are required to be accompanied by a Critter Release form that you will be required to fill out at the gate on our website ahead of time. All pets in attendance must be current on shots. Any unruly or threatening pet will be asked to leave. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
1) Come to the Great Iowa Pet Fest.
2) Find the Contest Table near the Main Stage.
3) Look for the Contest Entry Clip Boards.
4) Find the Clip Board for the Contest(s) you want to enter.
5) Sign up! All we need is your name and the name of your pet.
6) Come on up when we call your name!
You will need cash to purchase your admission tickets to the Pet Fest. An ATM will available near the entry gate if needed. Inside the Pet Fest exhibitors accept debit and credit cards.
